TEAM RULES
- Obey all civil laws.
- Obey all school rules and regulations. All forms must
be on file in the athletic office before you will be permitted to practice.
- Practice & Meets are Mandatory – Failure to attend may
result in suspension or dismissal from team. This is includes all meets up
to and including Districts for all team members.
- Runners are expected to be suited up and ready for the
bus by 2:50pm.
- Every runner must practice a minimum of 10 days before
running in their first meet.
- Cross country runners may not participate in any other
sport or conditioning program for any other sport during the season. This
includes school sanctioned sports, recreational leagues, and private
coaches.
- Treat all teammates, coaches, and athletic support
personnel with dignity and respect.
- Any action that is degrading or harmful to a teammate,
coach, or athletic support personnel is strictly forbidden.

Each situation will be handled individually and the coaching staff
reserves the right to modify these team rules.

Depending on the severity of the misbehavior, any of these
consequences could come first.
Remember, you represent the very best of REVERE. Be proud of that.
VARSITY LETTER REQUIREMENTS
- Up through and including the league meet, if a runner
finishes in the top seven on the team in a 5k race FOUR or more times they
will receive a letter.
- Times for varsity race and the open race will be
combined to determine the top seven team finishers for a given meet.
- A qualifying time will also count as being in the top
seven.

For Boys – Break 19:00 (Run 18: something)

For Girls – Break 23:00 (Run 22: something)
OR
- If a runner competes on the varsity team at the
District Meet, Regional Meet, or State Meet they will receive a letter.
- The coach has the privilege to letter a runner under
special circumstances.
-example: A senior who has been a
member of the squad for 2 or more years may be given a letter for
contributing to the overall program. This is not automatic, but
determined by the coaches. However if the runner has lettered in a previous
year, they have already lettered, so this will not apply.
A runner who is
dismissed from the team will NOT receive a letter or recognition.
